The Computer Museum of Kallio offers small groups an immersive "Museum Hour," where you’ll step right back into 1984—a time when home computers, floppy disks, and pixel graphics revolutionized the world.

During the museum session, you can explore an authentic 1980s computer store, try out old equipment, and hear fascinating stories about the early days of information technology. This is no ordinary museum visit, but an engaging and nostalgic experience that sparks conversation, memories, and insights among visitors of all ages.

The session duration is 60 minutes and it is perfect for tour groups, corporate teams, school groups, and hobbyists looking for a fun, unique, and accessible activity in Helsinki. The visit combines entertainment, history, and group activities in a way that will leave a lasting impression.

Delivery costs

The Museum Hour is ideal for families, as well as for tourist, corporate and leisure groups looking for fun, unique and easy-to-organise group activities in Helsinki. An hour full of memories, wonder and shared experiences – without breaking the bank. The Museum Hour is organised on request between 1 June and 31 July 2026.

The cost of a museum lesson for a group is €120 per hour. For example, for a group of 10 people, the price is just €12 per participant. For that price, you get a full hour of an engaging program, a nostalgic atmosphere, and a unique glimpse into a 1980s computer store, recreated by The Computer Museum of Kallio in Helsinki.
