He ovat tällä tavoin omalla panoksellaan osallistuneet museotoimintaan.
Vanha on nykyajan ”uusi” Kallion tietokonemuseolla. Museolla kannattaa poiketa tutustumaan tietokonekulttuuriin ja tietokoneiden legendoihin, sillä joku on mahdollistanut toiminnallaan kokemuksen juuri sinulle!

Museo muistaa ystäviään omalla yksilöllisellä pienellä kulttuurituotteella.
The Computer Museum of Kallio has been in operation since December 14, 2025. The museum's mission was to make available the collection of a single collector for everybody.
During its first year of operation, the museum's mission has changed. The generous donations received by the museum mean that people interested in the museum have donated their own collections and individual devices to The Computer Museum of Kallio. These donations have been made so that others can use them at the museum.
The museum's plan for its second year is to enable the use of donations and allow people interested in museum activities to take up a new hobby.
The museum is developing into a place for hobbyists and leisure seekers interested in museum activities. There, visitors can learn about computers at their own pace and use them for their own purposes. Whether it's gaming, programming, or even making music, The Computer Museum of Kallio allows everyone to pursue their interests in their own way and return to their hobbies.
The Computer Museum of Kallio provides facilities, opening hours, and guidance for anyone interested in starting a new hobby related to museum activities. No one needs to buy their own equipment or make any purchases to get started. Everything you need to get started can be found at the museum.
Our main goal for 2026 is to support and facilitate the start of museum-related hobbies, as well as to seek funding opportunities and develop museum products for sale to enable our activities.
Commodore 64, VIC20, C128, Amiga 500, computer magazines
Alkuperäisiä Amiga-pelejä kahdeksan kappaletta.
A diskette from the Mikropelimanne programming competition containing the program that won the competition (Printti magazine issues 10.86 and 20.86). The magazines and diskette are at the museum. Tom visited the museum and reminisced about the event. See the interview on Youtube..
Hacked Mac early 1990's. Kone on 80-luvun lopulta.
ihan kivasti.

Amstrad CPC464 + green monitor + disk drive and game bundle.

The Finnish Amiga Users Group has donated two copies of a book printed in collaboration with Wallu to the museu's collection. Mikrokivikausi – Kun esi-isä tietokoneen osti -sarjakuvakirjaa (3. painos, 2024).
The award-winning Harri ”Wallu” Vaalio's comic book The Micro Stone Age – When Grandpa Bought a Computer is based not only on the computer-themed comic strip of the same name, but also on a 2016 collaboration between a social influencer and former computer journalist. With Jyrki J.J Kasvi, who was also member of Finnish parlalment, they build together an exhibition "IT/EA The Micro Stone Age – comics from the early days of information technology to the present day". The exhibition—and subsequently the book—features both Jyrki's and Wallu's favorite Micro Stone Age series, accompanied by introductory texts.
Wallu produced two self-published editions of the book (2022). In 2024, he sought a partner for a third edition of the book, as there was demand for it, but self-publishing was no longer feasible. Interest was expressed by both domestic computer magazines and associations, but no one took up the offer, and the additional print run was in danger of not happening. The Finnish Amiga Users Association heard about the matter and stepped in as a comic book patron so that the third edition could be produced. You can recognize this third edition by the association's AMIGAAA! logo on the inside cover.

2 x Apple IIc computers with peripherals, approximately 200 floppy disks with Apple II programs.
Mikko reminisces about the early days of computing with an 8-bit Apple: "I started my programming career on these Apple IIc computers; I was an enthusiast. Of course, I had previously coded small games for the C64 with the help of instructions from Mikrobitti magazine, but it was Apple that opened the door to the world of independent programming. Their direct readiness for graphics programming without a separate compiler was quite convenient. When I left to study at the University of Helsinki in the mid-90s, my student room was furnished with a bed, half a bookcase, a table, one chair, and one chair. When I left to study at the University of Helsinki in the mid-90s, my student dorm room was furnished with a bed, half a bookshelf, a table, one chair, one PC, and one Apple IIc. With nothing else to do in the evenings, I programmed my first drawing programs and some simple databases on the Apple. My parents had another Apple IIc with a collection of floppy disks so that I could continue having fun during the holidays.
The Apple II is part of the permanent collection at The Computer Museum of Kallio. You are welcome to study and explose the first Apple home computers, don't hesitate to ask further information from the museum.

The Computer Museum of Kallio is grateful for the donations that enable cultural experiences to be passed on to future generations. The old good days will never return, but there is no need to give up on the things of that era and the experiences associated with them – especially when they were good and enjoyable experiences.
