Before the era of home computers, computers were expensive and large devices intended for industrial use, which were seen in magazines and science fiction television series. But with the advent of home computers, computers arrived directly into people's homes, offering them the opportunity to learn about programming, gaming, and digital creativity. Despite their humble beginnings, they are the foundation of modern society. Home computers meant that the use and programming of computers moved from the vaults of banks and universities to devices in every home.
The museum is developing into a place for hobbyists and leisure seekers interested in museum activities. There, visitors can learn about computers at their own pace and use them for their own purposes. Whether it's gaming, programming, or even making music, The Computer Museum of Kallio allows everyone to pursue their interests in their own way and return to their hobbies.
The Computer Museum of Kallio provides facilities, opening hours, and guidance for anyone interested in starting a new hobby related to museum activities. No one needs to buy their own equipment or make any purchases to get started. Everything you need to get started can be found at the museum.
